Dexter Theme

I had the honor of working with photographer David Zayas Jr.(Z Productions) his father David Zayas plays Angel Batista on the hit show Dexter on ShowTime, which my friend Christina is obsessed with! So when she heard David was shooting a series of photos called The Back Seat Series naturally she wanted her theme to be Dexter, here are some behind the scene photos and the final photo:-)

Indian Bride

I had the honor of being Mita Rana's makeup artist for not one but two weekends she had a beautiful Catholic wedding & then the following weekend her Hindu ceremony so happy she is officially part of the family. Love her & Felix to pieces & wish them all the happiness in the world!!

Halloween makeup

Hey guys this post is a little late but wanted to share some of my Halloween looks, so I decided to try some special effects makeup and made a zipper face costume for my husband and mine was a bit simpler I went as Poison Ivy:-) Have a Great day everyone!!

Oh My Goodness today has been such a great day besides landing what could be a just a temp position with an excellent dermatology office I am a semi-finalist for the RAW Awards event November 15th!!! If I win it means a trip to LA to go up against other makeup artists from every major city!!! And if I win I get to work on a video music video in LA!!! So I havent been on in awhile but I wanted to update my blog to let everyone know what exciting events have happened as of late first off the RAW NY showcase was a great sucess..here is a video of my interview and my models from the fashion show http://www.mediafire.com/?wb2m2u1ost2vtx4 and secondly I have my very first tear sheet my work was published in Urban Ink's August issue, the photos from the Tattoo Beauty Pageant I did work for are on page 83&84.

Master Class with the Amazing Celebrity Makeup Artist Mally Roncal

Hey everyone wanted to share my awesome experience I got to attend a Master class at Henri Bendel in NYC with celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal shes responsible for some of Beyonce's, Jennifer Lopez's  and Zoey Deschanel's beautiful looks. If you've ever seen her on QVC that is her true personality she is so warm, bubbly and down to earth and after seeing her in person I love her even more! I love that even her makeup line is designed for every day women on the go and to last all day or "bullet proof" as she puts it. Also I LOVE that she sells brushes along with some of her products, if you're not a makeup artist or aware of what brush is used for what it can change the look of how your blush or highlighter is applied. She and her assistant Gabriel went through her spring line and gave us her fabulous Evercolor poreless face defender. If you don't know she considers translucent powder the devil..lol..if any of you remember Nicole Kidman looking really white under her eyes that was a clear mishap of too much translucent powder. So her face defender is a satiny product that locks in your makeup fills in your pores and lines its clear..and so perfect!
